What is the Always Pretty Shirodhara treatment?
This is a specialty treatment aimed at providing deep mental tranquility and release of mental and physical stress.
Warm, soothing oil is applied to the forehead in a continuous stream. The oil is directed on the "third eye" and also gently and slowly swayed across the forehead from side to side. The result is a fantastic sense of deep relaxation and inner peace. It is highly effective in removing mental stress and anxiety, in treating insomnia, headaches and encouraging mental clarity.
Part of the experience is a detoxing treatment through acupressure on the feet, scalp and face. A neck and shoulder massage adds to the deep relaxation and healing.
The recipient can choose to shower after the treatment, or bring a towel and allow the oil to remain and deeply condition the hair.
